Update STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl pushed back to 2023, chilling trailer and dev diary revealed

Yesterday, during his Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022, Microsoft went all out on the games expected in the next 12 monthspromising great things to players and subscribers to the Game Pass. Many titles will arrive already this year, while more are planned for the first half of 2023.

And it is precisely in this category that we find STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobylshooting and survival game of GSC Games. The Ukrainian studio unfortunately encountered development problems due to the war in its country, but it had not formalized the postponement of the release date, so far set for December 8, 2022. Finally, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is scheduled for release in 2023without further details, but the launch should take place before June.

As a reminder, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be available on PC and Xbox Series X|S, and it will be included in the Game Pass when it comes out, next year. You can already pre-order the game against €47.99 on Gamesplanet.

Update : GSC Games has just formalized the postponement of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl to 2023 in good and due form, publishing in passing a new trailer, to admire above. But the studio also shares a dev diary for the less chilling, showing his offices abandoned because of the war in Ukraine. If some members have left the region, others are still there, working to the rhythm of the sirens, sealed off at home, while others have decided to take up arms to defend their country.
