Fantasy fans are eagerly awaiting the start of the school year to discover the first episodes of the Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Poweran ambitious series produced by Amazon Prime Video and obviously based on the universe created by JRR Tolkien. We already got a teaser and a trailer is coming soon.
Amazon Prime Video gives us an appointment on July 14 to discover the trailer for the Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, but in the meantime, a new teaser is shared and is to admire above. We find most of the main characters staring up at the sky as an ominous ball of fire shoots toward the ground. The beginning of great upheavals that will be at the heart of the series, as the broadcaster explains:
The Prime Video series brings to the screen for the very first time the heroic legends of the mythical Second Age of Middle-earth history. This epic series takes place thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, and will take viewers to a time when great powers were forged, kingdoms rose in glory and fell in ruins, where unlikely heroes were tried, where hope hung only in the thinnest of threads, and where the greatest threat that ever came from Tolkien’s mind aspired to plunge the whole world into darkness. .
Kicking off in a time of relative peace, the series follows a cast of characters, familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared resurgence of Evil in Middle-earth.
