League of Legends, Esport, Fnatic, Drama, Upset, Paula, Worlds, Adam, Explained
Tired of hearing lies and hateful comments about Upset’s absence from Worlds, the player and his wife have decided to reveal the reasons for this premature departure.
It was about one of the biggest drama of the end of 2021 In esports, the premature departure of Elias “Upset” Lipp from Worlds has caused a lot of ink to flow on Twitter and Reddit. If at first the situation seemed under control, it was a tweetlonger from Adam “Adam” Maanane that sparked the fire. Indeed, the Frenchman explained that he had not received any explanation for this premature departure except that it was to find his girlfriend. Since then, Upset, and by the way his girlfriend Paula “Paulaeal” Aracena, received waves of hate.
A few months later, the situation has calmed down a bit but the two continue to receive constant hate comments. To the extent that Paulaeal has decided to come clean about the reasons behind her husband’s decision, and it is clearly legit. As she states in a tweet, she says she has been “mistreated” and that’Upset just came back to protect her. In fact, we immediately understand the reason for Upset’s departure even though he was about to play the biggest competition of his career.
Bc I was abused, he don’t say anything bc he want to protect me, but the right ppl in his work know. Now everyone is happy? I’m done with all this, how everyone is so disgusting. I’m dealing with double pain here and we’re doing our best. I can’t believe this community https://t.co/C9fLEolheP

It seemed so obvious it would have been amazing to see a person sacrifice the opportunity of a lifetime to just do ARAM with his wife for fun. The two suffered a real harassment because of this story and which is not justified under any reasons. From now on, we hope that all this drama will end following Paulaeal’s explanations, that everyone will finally respect the two newlyweds and above all leave them alone.
