Upwake announces HAWKED, a PvPvE shooter

The hunt is on for the most seasoned adventurers in HAWKED, a game mixing PvP and PvE. Developed and published by Upwake, the game is planned for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series.

Alone, or in teams of three, players must compete in labyrinthine landscapes in search of treasure. Only one winner can survive, and the other adventurers are not the only dangers present on the spot. All are in search of the powers offered by the mysterious artefacts which rest on the X-Isle. These confer enormous advantages on those who hold them, and are preserved over the course of the games. It only remains to determine the best way to obtain them, between going in search of them or tracking down the other players to steal them.

But HAWKED is not just a shooter in which you have to survive. The island is full of little secrets, riddles and traps to overcome to extract all the riches. Anything lying on this island can be used to upgrade their avatar’s gear and skills for future playthroughs. A way like any other to experience adventures worthy of Indiana Jones from your living room.

Without a release date for the moment, a closed alpha phase is scheduled for November 24 to 28, 2022. It is only available on Steam, and you must register on the game page to hope to take part. Only the Hunting game mode will be playable there in order to gather player feedback.
