The owner of Juvamine and Mercurochrome is preparing acquisitions to expand his third business.

Urgo sets out to conquer a new territory: aesthetic medicine. The French ETI, known for its brands of dressings, care and food supplements (Urgo, Juvamine, Alvityl, Mercurochrome, etc.), has been trying out this new activity for four years. In France, it launched Urgo Touch, a laser that helps reduce postoperative scars for women who have undergone breast reconstruction. About 22,000 patients have been treated with this medical device, which is rented or purchased (12,000 euros each) by hospitals and clinics. A third of French cosmetic surgeons are equipped with it.
