Urssaf control actions, which aim to verify the accuracy of company declarations, should return to cruising speed in 2022. Down over the past two years, due to the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economy, their level should reach that of 2019. With 9.8 million contributors that year, around 530 billion euros were collected by the Urssaf National Fund (UCN) and the Urssaf, of which 360 billion only by the latter. Some 32 billion euros in contributions were then verified. If 950 million euros have been regularized, 150 million have also been returned to companies. “With 62,000 base accounting checks carried out, seven checks out of ten on average give rise to adjustments», recalls Xavier Pignaud, associate lawyer at Rigaud Avocats.
