Eco-friendly e-bike travel deserves rewards! This is the opinion at Urtopia. The Ride-to-Earn program promises incentives.

- With every ride on the e-bike, you collect “carbon points” that can be exchanged for rewards such as smartwatches or clothing.
The Urtopia Carbon (test report) is a crazy e-bike. Very light, equipped with built-in eSIM, projection indicators and other gimmicks such as voice input. The manufacturer has now launched a special campaign so that even more people can get to know more about environmentally friendly mobility and the advantages of riding an e-bike, which we have never seen from any other bicycle manufacturer.

Anyone who uses an Urtopia e-bike and connects it to the accompanying app can convert their daily e-bike kilometers into tangible rewards from Urtopia’s own shop. This is roughly comparable to the points system of Deutsche Bahn. If you drive a lot, you collect more points and can therefore look forward to higher premiums.
As the manufacturer calculates, 2,832 grams of harmful CO2 emissions can be saved per 100 kilometers of travel with the Urtopia e-bike. And even the production of the e-bike should be particularly environmentally friendly and is meticulously documented by the manufacturer together with the certification organization Bureau Veritas according to ISOP14067:2018. After a total mileage of 3,000 kilometers, the e-bike is CO2-neutral.
You also collect carbon points when you recommend the bike to a new customer. You can then exchange the points you have collected for prizes in the in-house shop. We can’t say exactly what the bonuses are. The corresponding link in the app is currently not working for us. An accompanying image suggests that these are Urtopia-owned products, including apparel, accessories, and a smartwatch.
