The horror film Smile – with a budget of $17 million – continues its momentum and registers an additional 4 million for its 6th weekend in theaters. Parker Finn’s feature film has accumulated more than $99 million at the BO US and exceeded 200 million internationally.

Brian Robbins, CEO of Paramount Pictures, enthused in a press release: “Smile’s spectacular performance around the world demonstrates what’s truly possible when you offer a marketing campaign that sticks to the movie on top of a masterfully crafted concept horror movie.“.

Smile: a record for this horror film that will make you want to smile

In France, Smile passed the million admissions mark on 2 November.

Horror continues to bring spectators to theaters after Halloween since The Devil’s Prey is in 5th position with 3.8 million dollars for its second weekend in theaters, Halloween Ends registers 1.4 million for a total of 63 million after a month of exploitation in the United States while the killer clown film Terrifier 2 reaps an additional 1.2 million for a total of $9.8 million at the US box office.

A good score for a film that only cost $250,000…
