A few weeks after Taylor Swift, another music icon fills cinemas. This weekend’s surprise number 1 in the United States is called… Beyoncé!
This is the concert documentary Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé who comes first, in front Hunger Games 2023 and the novelty Godzilla Minus One. It’s less strong than the success of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour but the score remains very solid.
The Hunger Games therefore goes down to 2nd step and takes in an additional $14.5 million according to estimates. Godzilla Minus One is 3rd. We then find two animated films, including Wish, the new Disney, only in 5th place this weekend.
