The horror film “Smile” is still at the top of the US box office, while the two novelties “Enzo the croco” and “Amsterdam” with Christian Bale complete the podium.

The American spectators are smiling. The horror movie Smile remains at the top of the US box office for its second week of theatrical release with 17.6 million additional admissions. Parker Finn’s feature film has therefore accumulated more than 49 million green tickets in the United States and 89 million worldwide.
Released Wednesday September 28 in our dark rooms, Smile follows the psychiatrist Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon). After witnessing a traumatic incident involving one of his patients, his life turns into a nightmare. Overwhelmed by a mysterious force, Rose will have to confront her past in an attempt to survive…

In second position we find the newcomer Enzo the Crocodile with 11.5 million admissions in North America. Adapted from the children’s book Lyle, Crododile Lyle by Bernard Waber, the feature film which will be released in theaters on November 30 combines live action and computer-generated images.
Freshly arrived in New York, the young Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and his new comrades. All that changes when he discovers Enzo – a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and music – and lives in the attic of his new home.

On the third step of the podium we find the new film by David O. Russell, amsterdam with Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington and Rami Malek. The feature film, which will be released on November 1 in our dark rooms, has totaled 6.5 million admissions in the United States for its first weekend of operation. Amsterdam tells the story of three friends who find themselves at the center of one of the most secret and shocking plots in American history.
The historic action movie The Woman King recorded $5.3 million this weekend and therefore accumulated $54 million in the USA for its 4th weekend of theatrical release.
Don’t worry Darling by Olivia Wilde with Florence Pugh and Harry Styles drops to 5th position (he was second) with an additional 3.475 million dollars and a total of 38.45 million greenbacks in the 3rd week.
Avatar: beware, this is the first film that is currently in theaters (yes, viewers are wrong)
Avatar continues on its way with 2.5 million more. The release of James Cameron’s film has so far grossed $23 million in the US and $72 million worldwide. Results that suggest the best for Avatar 2, in theaters on December 14.
Finally, Barbarian and gay romantic comedy Bros each recorded $2.1 million while the Indian action flick Ponniyin Selvan – Part 1 totals another $910,000 in 2nd week and horror movie Terrify 2 rakes in $825,000.
