There is now ample evidence that the coronavirus did not just emerge in December 2019, when China officially confirmed a first case. Scientists in Spain want to have detected the virus in wastewater as early as mid-March 2019. A study by the Italian Cancer Institute (INT) found Covid-19 in Milan in September of the same year.
Where exactly the virus first appeared and when exactly the virus crisis broke out in China, answers to these questions remain a mystery, especially since the Chinese have made great efforts to cover up all traces that indicate an early Covid outbreak in Wuhan. But indications are growing that the outbreak in China occurred much earlier than officially communicated by Beijing. Even more: a high-ranking US investigator is convinced of genetic engineering experiments and a leak in the virology institute in Wuhan.
These are findings from the US secret paper that is to be presented to President Joe Biden (78) in September. The Republican MP Michael McCaul (59), chairman of the congressional committee of the foreign affairs commission, speaks in an 82-page preliminary report of a “preponderance of evidence” that speak for a leak in the Institute of Virology in Wuhan.
China tried “desperately” to cover up the leak
McCaul rejects the thesis that the virus is said to have jumped from animals to humans at a fresh market. “While we continue to investigate the causes of the Covid-19 pandemic”, McCaul writes on behalf of the committee of inquiry, “In my opinion, it is time to completely exclude the fresh market as the source of the outbreak.”
The Chinese themselves had already expressed concerns about the safety precautions in the laboratory in the summer of 2019. Based on research, “we assume that the virus escaped sometime in late August or early September 2019. Realizing what had happened, Chinese Communist Party officials and scientists from the laboratory began desperately to cover up the leak. “
Military athletes from all over the world fell ill
In the middle of the night, the virus database was taken offline – for no reason – and on the same day the laboratory management submitted a 1.3 million dollar procurement application for security services. The ventilation system should also be comprehensively refurbished. Both tenders have since been deleted from the Chinese Ministry of Finance’s website.
“But their cover-up came too late,” continues McCaul the Texan. “The virus had already spread in the metropolis of Wuhan. Within a month, satellite images show a significant increase in the number of people in the hospitals around the virology institute. “
At the same time, athletes at the 7th World Military Games held in Wuhan were suffering from symptoms similar to Covid-19. 9000 athletes from all over the world had traveled. Apparently, Wuhan already looked like it was in lockdown. Nobody knew what was going on. Many fell ill. “Some of them carried the virus back to their home countries, making it one of the earliest superspreader events in the world,” said McCaul.
“Hold those responsible to account”
The virus was man-made in Wuhan, says McCaul. “As early as 2016, researchers at the institute were able to successfully modify coronaviruses without leaving any traces.” According to the report, “dangerous genetic changes were carried out on coronaviruses at unsafe biosecurity levels”.
McCaul calls on Congress to use laws and sanctions to punish Chinese scientists and politicians who were involved in the cover-up. “This was the biggest cover-up of all time and caused the deaths of more than four million people around the world,” says McCaul. “Those responsible must be held accountable.”
The World Health Organization (WHO) has so far not taken a position on the origin of the pandemic. She does not have the data to make an assessment. After a largely inconclusive WHO mission to Wuhan in January 2020, the Geneva UN organization demanded renewed and unrestricted access to Wuhan. China is stubborn and accused the WHO of “disregarding common sense and arrogance towards science”. There is no such thing as a “man-made virus,” said Vice Minister of Health Zeng Yixin. Covid-19 has “multiple origins” and has “erupted in several places”.
