This week has been very dense once again on the tech side with a new American embargo which this time wants to hurt all of China, the Renault Mobilize Duo against the Citröen Ami and the published tests of the Google Pixel 7 , Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch. This is the main news of the week.
United States: a new embargo to stifle China
Not content with the sanctions imposed on Huawei, the United States applies a new embargo against China. Result: certain components using American equipment and technologies, even when they are produced abroad, can no longer be delivered to Chinese factories. The goal is to asphyxiate Beijing and its industry in a context where the two superpowers clash in a war of influence mixing global economy, military development and tensions around Taiwan.
Note that, among other large companies allied with Washington, Samsung enjoys a little preferential treatment despite the fact that the South Korean giant operates two factories in China.
