US President Joe Biden (78) has received the third corona vaccination. To convince more Americans to immunize, he had the syringe with the vaccine from Biontech / Pfizer placed in front of the cameras on Monday (September 27).
“We can do it. Get vaccinated,” was Biden’s appeal to viewers of a live stream, which among other things was broadcast on Twitter. “I want to make it clear that booster vaccinations are important, but the most important thing is that more people are vaccinated.”
“I know I don’t look like that, but I’m over 65 years old”
Then the 78-year-old had his first “booster shot”, as the third vaccination is called in the USA, administered – and he even felt like joking. “I know I don’t look like that, but I’m over 65 years old,” said the politician, alluding to his belonging to one of the corona risk groups.
The US President also had the first two corona vaccinations administered in front of the TV cameras. His wife, First Lady Jill Biden (70), will also be given her third vaccination soon.
