US to provide additional military aid of $550 million to Ukraine, says Pentagon

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Pentagon said on Monday it would provide additional military aid worth $550 million (536 million euros) to Ukraine.

“To meet Ukraine’s needs on the battlefield, the United States will continue to work with allies and partners to provide Kyiv with the necessary capabilities,” the Pentagon said in a statement.

This new aid will notably include HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.
