USA: 1.4% rise in producer prices in March


(CercleFinance.com) – According to the Labor Department, producer prices in the United States rose 1.4% in March compared to the previous month, including a rise of 0.9% excluding food, energy and services trade, rates higher than the consensus.

Over the last twelve months, the rise in producer prices stood at 11.2% in raw data in March and at 7% excluding food, energy and commercial services, after annual rates of 10.3% and 6% respectively. 7% observed in February.
