USA 2024: Ex-Governor Christie to run for Republican nomination

WASHINGTON, May 31 (Reuters) – Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is expected to announce his candidacy for the Republican nomination for the 2024 U.S. presidential election on June 6, a source told Reuters, confirming a report from the site. Axios.

Aged 60, Chris Christie had already presented himself in the Republican primaries of 2016, giving up very early in the race won by Donald Trump. He then rallied to the Republican President, before distancing himself from him after the January 2021 Capitol assault.
