USA: decline in oil, gasoline and distillate stocks


(CercleFinance.com) – US inventories of crude oil, gasoline and distillate products all fell last week, the US Energy Information Agency (EIA) announced on Wednesday.

Crude reserves thus fell by 4.5 million barrels to 422.1 million, those of gasoline by 3.3 million barrels while stocks of distillates, which include heating oil in particular, fell by 800,000 barrels. .

The refinery capacity utilization rate reached 92.2%.

Crude prices have reacted to these figures by regaining some ground, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) currently rising 0.5% to 95.5 dollars.
