WASHINGTON, June 30 (Reuters) – U.S. household sentiment rose in June from May, more than initially estimated, final results from the University of Michigan monthly survey showed on Friday. .
Its confidence index rose to 64.4 from 59.2 in May. Economists and analysts polled by Reuters on average expected a figure of 63.9, as in the first estimate.
The component of consumers’ judgment of their current situation rose to 69, after 68 the previous month.
That of the outlook fell to 61.5 from 55.4.
