Usain Bolt has three children with his long-time partner. At some point he would also like to marry his partner.

The Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt (34) recently became a father again. He and his partner Kasi Bennett, with whom he is said to have been together for around six years, announced a few weeks agothat she gave birth to twins. In conversation with the British “Daily Mirror” Bolt now explains that he “definitely” wants to get married at some point in the future. But he didn’t want to divulge when it should be ready.

In June, the couple revealed that their sons Saint Leo and Thunder were born. In 2020 a daughter of the two was born with the little Olympia Lightning. The couple initially kept silent about the birth of the twins in order to take the pressure off Bennett. “People always tell you that the moment you have your first child is going to change your life,” explains Bolt. “And he does. It’s something I really appreciate and love.”

The children are not always easy

But life with the kids is not necessarily easy. When asked whether it is more difficult to run 100 meters in record time or to take care of three children, Bolt explains: “Definitely three babies.” If they all start screaming at the same time, there will be absolute chaos. “You don’t know what to do. So it’s difficult, but it’s so worth it.”

The sprint legend is already very much looking forward to seeing her children grow up. It is exciting for him, for example, whether they might also become athletes like their dad, who is an eight-time Olympic champion – or whether they might not be able to do anything with sport. He also experiences “something new every day with the children. That makes you smile and makes you happy.”
