Usain Bolt ruined: the fastest man in the world victim of an impressive financial scam

All of Jamaica, and especially Usain Bolt, are wondering where his $12 million went. The 100 and 200 meter star was robbed of all his money, as were some 40 other victims of this same financial fraud.

Financially, nothing is going well for Usain Bolt. The undisputed king of world sprinting, who has not spoken to Prince Harry since his marriage, has been steal some 12 million dollars following a fraud. She also rubbed shoulders with around forty other wealthy people, including several elderly people. Following this scam, the police have been investigating for two weeks on the investment company Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL), which is based in Kingston. The latter thus holds, or rather held, funds placed by the sprinter, father of twins. His $12 million account was stripped almost entirely. A drama for the racing star.

Deeply loved and admired by his Jamaican country, many wanted to support Usain Bolt, who does not want to have any more children. In particular the artist Gage, who went so far as to write him a song symbolically titled SSL. In particular, it highlights injustice between different social classesfaced by residents of poor neighborhoods in Jamaica.

Forty victims and the promise of severe sanctions

Finance Minister Nigel Clarke told AFP bluntly that he wanted to take severe penalties against those responsible for this fraud: “The punishment gap between white-collar crime and other forms of crime must be erased. If you steal from those who entrust their money or defraud investors and endanger our financial system, our way of life, Jamaican society wants you to be put in the shade for a long timelong time”he explained.

He also clarified that he was preparing to ask the FBI and other foreign agencies to help investigate after replacing board members of the Financial Services Commission (FSC). Indeed, this organization has temporarily taken over the management of SSL and has appointed a special auditor. However, no suspects were arrested following the police raid on the home of a former employee of the company. The investigation is thus more topical than anything and Nigel Clarke, with the support of the Jamaican police, certainly does not want to stop there or give up. Hoping that Usain Bolt and the quarantine of other victims can get justice.
