The fire brigades in and around Millstatt were alerted on Wednesday morning to a serious traffic accident with a person trapped: A car was on the roof.
On Wednesday at 10.31 a.m., the Millstatt, Laubendorf, Obermillstatt and Seeboden fire brigades were alerted to a serious traffic accident with a trapped person. The emergency services found a car lying on its roof on the street. However, the person had already been able to free himself from the vehicle and was immediately given medical care by a fire brigade paramedic. The fire services still had to tie up resources while the emergency doctor treated the injured and the ÖAMTC rescue helicopter team flew to the hospital. During this operation, which lasted two hours, the fire brigades had to deal with another operation: a fire alarm, which turned out to be a false alarm.
