Ushi: Smart mini adventurer for the trailer hitch

MOBILITY

The “Ushi” mini trailer is aimed at campers who don’t want a full-sized caravan. The little one still offers a surprising amount of space.

When the keyword “camping” is mentioned, very few people think of a tent these days. Most people have a caravan or mobile home in mind. The Ushi mini trailer, on the other hand, is aimed at people who want to focus on being outside in nature.

Because even though Ushi may be reminiscent of small e-bike caravans, you cannot spend the night in it. There simply isn’t enough space for a big enough bed. Rather, the mini trailer should hold all your equipment, including a tent, cooking utensils and other utensils. A picture from the manufacturer illustrates what fits into the small all-rounder (see gallery).

Ushi is 1.5 meters high and only 2.3 meters long overall. The length is not enough to mount a roof tent. The mini trailer offers space for installing an outdoor kitchen. Numerous drawers and pull-outs accommodate all your equipment. There is also a special compartment to accommodate a refrigerator or cool box.

The entire aluminum construction weighs around 290 kilograms, and the American manufacturer specifies the payload at 390 kilograms.

Price and availability

The trailer, which is available now, costs the equivalent of around 9,000 euros. You can find further information here from the manufacturer. Thule also has a special solution for the trailer hitch in its range, in which you can also spend the night. You can read more reports from the camping and outdoor sector here.
