The ability to connect multiple Bluetooth devices to a smartphone at once can be helpful in various settings. For example, if you want to listen to music or watch a series with friends, two Bluetooth devices can be an advantage.
Theoretically, Bluetooth Dual Audio would be a feature that has been available for all Android devices since Bluetooth version 5.0. However, so far only a few manufacturers have decided to integrate this functionality into their smartphones and operating systems. Unfortunately, Google is not one of them with its Pixel smartphones, even with Android 14.
The only major manufacturer whose new smartphones support dual audio is Samsung. This means that you can only use one Bluetooth device at a time to listen to music or stream series with your Google Pixel smartphone.
However, there is the option of connecting two devices at the same time and, if necessary, switching the audio signal from one device to the other by simply tapping on it in the Bluetooth settings.
Theoretically, it is also possible to split the signal with a Bluetooth splitter. But such devices usually require a 3.5 millimeter jack on the smartphone. Google Pixel phones do not offer this. Although this can be retrofitted with an adapter, it is questionable whether the transmission will run smoothly via these many intermediate steps.
