Using two Bluetooth headphones at the same time: is that possible with Xiaomi cell phones?

A feature of Bluetooth 5.0 is the ability to send music from a cell phone to two Bluetooth headphones at the same time. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has chosen not to integrate the Dual Audio feature into their version of Android, that is, MIUI.

Consequently, you have no way to connect two Bluetooth devices to your Xiaomi device at the same time. There is also no way to retrofit this function via app or update. The only exception is the Xiaomi Mi 11. At least the Chinese version should have a corresponding feature. Out of the current major Android phone manufacturers, only a few Samsung devices are capable of having multiple Bluetooth devices connected and broadcasting to them at the same time.

With your Xiaomi smartphone, you only have the option of connecting two Bluetooth headphones to the smartphone and switching between the two devices if necessary – however, as I said, you cannot send to both headphones at the same time. But you can use a Bluetooth adapter as a workaround, which also acts as a splitter. For this, your Xiaomi cell phone usually has to have a 3.5 millimeter jack connection.
