Vaccination, recovery or test are no longer enough! This applies to risk areas

A new coronavirus entry regulation has been in effect since December 23, 2021. When returning to Germany, people aged six and over must present either a negative test result or proof of vaccination or proof of recovery. This applies regardless of the means of transport and regardless of whether the travel destination was a high-risk or virus variant area.

Travelers who have been in a High risk or a virus variant area have stayed must register before their arrival in Germany www.einreiseanmeldung.de register and carry the proof with you upon entry.

Anyone returning from a high-risk area must also be in quarantine – unless there is proof of recovery or vaccination. A free test can take place after five days at the earliest. Anyone returning from a virus variant area must be in quarantine for 14 days. Free testing is not possible.
