She hopes so soon to be able finally admire the stars or walk in a park without wearing glasses ! "We are D + 1 from the operation and I am talking to you in the dark because I cannot open my eyes to the light, I have become photophobic", explained bluntly the young woman, in a relationship with Nicolas Fleury, champion of mountain bike trial. Thus, the former beauty queen must avoid large light sources for a few more days, so as not to suffer. A necessary passage to be recover properly from the operation. Vaimalama Chaves scared before her operation

For example, the former Miss, who often spoke about her weight problems during her teenage years, recalled that "making the decision to have your eyes operated on is not trivial". She therefore hesitated for a long time:"It was not an easy choice to make, especially since I was really scared", she confided, even admitting to having delayed this moment as much as possible:"I postponed one of the surgeries because I couldn't tell myself to do it. Anyway, I took the plunge, and it's happening pretty quickly, in real life". To reassure her nearly 600,000 followers, she described in detail the course of the procedure, from the moment she put on the blue gown, until the famous operation, which takes place under local anesthesia and lasts about twenty minutes : "Installation and eye check to make sure you are in good condition for the operation. Anesthetic drops for the eyes. Local anesthesia: we see it all! You sit on the table, an eyelid spreader makes sure you see everything". But in the end, she ensured that everything was fine."Once it's over, you still have the anesthesia that keeps you from hurting too much, but when it goes, you have a very hard socket on the first night, less hard on the second day.", described the recently slimmed-down former beauty queen, who now can't wait for her eyes to come back so she can enjoy the new sight.
