A person was attacked and his dog killed by two pit bulls last Monday in Bonneuil-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne).
The victim was slightly injured but his animal, kept on a leash, did not survive, reported Actu.fr. The two pit bulls were apprehended and impounded, local media reported.

On Twitter, the town hall of Bonneuil-sur-Marne published a press release to remind “that dog owners are required to know and apply all the legislation concerning the detention and conditions of movement of these dogs”.
“The City of Bonneuil will strengthen its awareness campaigns, the municipality told Actu. For security and public tranquility, we rely on everyone’s good citizenship and responsibility,” she concluded.
