To make Valentine's Day a little sweeter for lovers in times of Corona, celebrity chefs rely on romantic gourmet boxes for at home.

This year's Valentine's Day has to be celebrated in most cases in your own four walls due to the corona pandemic. But this should not detract from romanticism. Numerous celebrity chefs have tinkered with gourmet boxes that can easily be ordered online and conjure up tempting food on the table in no time at all. It is well known that love goes through the stomach.

For example, Steffen Henssler (48) offers special sushi boxes for two people, which can be pre-ordered in Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg on Valentine's Day. Colleague Nelson Müller (41) also has a Valentine's menu box in his repertoire, which is delivered throughout Germany. Connoisseurs can look forward to wild-caught prawns, Boeuf Bourguignon and chocolate cake. At Frank Rosin (54) there are several dishes to choose from, ranging from tagliatelle to ox cheeks.

Roland Trettl thinks a lot of Valentine's Day

In the life of Roland Trettl (49), Valentine's Day plays "a very important role". On Instagram he explains: "Twelve years ago I met my lady of heart exactly on Valentine's Day, exactly one year later I asked for her hand … and Dani said YES." To celebrate the day, he and Konstantin Wolf, a friend of the couple, put together a Valentine's box that contains, among other things, various drinks, spices and a body cream.

Live online cooking class with Johann Lafer

Tim Mälzer (50) is also resourceful. For Valentine's Day he sends out "Love in the Box", the content of which includes almost 20 different delicacies and surprises. However, the offer has already been exhausted. The same applies to the dinner box recommended by celebrity chef Alexander Herrmann (49). The order deadline for the 3-course menu with prawns, beef fillet and layered dessert has already expired. And also Johann Lafers (63) live online cooking class on Valentine's Day is no longer available.
