(AOF) – Valeo and Qualcomm announce their intention to expand their cooperation in India in order to improve security and offer a connected experience to the small mobility segment in this country. The solutions of the two groups for 2 wheels and new vehicle categories will be used to develop new solutions for “connected displays, clusters, driving assistance and sensors”. This strategic collaboration should make it possible to take advantage of the strong local R&D presence of both companies and Valeo’s local capabilities.
Thanks to a solution including “on-board cellular modems, connected screens, driving assistance functions and connected clusters”, drivers will be able to “stay focused on the road” while being connected in real time to their smartphone applications favorites, navigation systems or cloud-based entertainment.
