(AOF) – Automotive supplier Valeo carried out its first hackathon focused on Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). This strategic event aimed to resolve a concrete and current challenge in the business world. It was organized in collaboration with Artefact, a French company specializing in the deployment of AI technologies and advanced data solutions, and Google Cloud which offers an infrastructure and a technological offering dedicated to generative AI.
For 3 days, 16 teams, or more than 120 employees, were supported by Artefact’s Data Scientist teams as well as by Google Cloud experts in order to jointly build solutions to transform Generative AI into concrete solutions for Valeo, moving from the ideation phase to the creation of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The projects were then evaluated by a jury made up of members of the Valeo executive committee.

The many projects proposed as part of the Hackathon demonstrate their creativity”, commented Christophe Périllat, CEO of Valeo.
