Valérie Pécresse: “we need an all-out shock of purchasing power”

Guest of the CNEWS morning show this Thursday, Valérie Pécresse, LR presidential candidate, said she wanted to put in place “an all-out shock of purchasing power” if she were elected to the Elysée.

“It starts with a salary increase,” she said. “I want wages to pay more than assistantship”

For this, she promised a general increase of 10%, over her entire five-year term, if she is elected. This will begin this summer, supported by the State.

Valérie Pécresse said that those who work will have an increase in their purchasing power of 500 euros.

Discount of 25 cents on gasoline

There will be aid for families, with “900 euros of allowance from the first child, whatever the level of income”. “I also want 25 cents off gas,” she added.

Still with the aim of increasing the purchasing power of the French, presidential candidate LR said she wanted to de-index the price of electricity from the price of gas, to put hundreds of euros back in their wallets. “We must return the money that the state has earned through inflation to the French,” she concluded.
