Valheim: Cheat codes & cheat codes, complete list

Like many other games, you can cheat in Valheim, although it won’t necessarily make the experience any better. It’s always more enjoyable (and satisfying) to play a game normally, without using cheat codes, except from time to time to relax, for example. However, some cheat codes could be useful to you and are not really cheating per se.

How to activate a cheat code in Valheim?

Everything goes through the game console, which will be useful to all players and not just those wishing to use cheat codes. If it was previously active by default, Iron Gate has changed the game. To activate and use it, you will have to right click on Valheim from Steam, then “Properties” and indicate “-console” in the “Launch Options” section. Then, you will be able to open it in game by using the “F5” key (default) on your keyboard. You will then be able to see all the possible commands by typing “help”. Here, it is mainly server administrators who will find it useful, since you can, for example, ban one day.

Following an update, the cheat codes can no longer be activated with “imacheater”. You must now use the “devcommands” command which should send you a “true” message indicating that the cheat codes are activated, while indicating a prevention message. To deactivate them, you just have to return “devcommands” in the console, so that the word “false” appears.
