As we have known for a few months already, Valheim’s next major update will bring a new biome, Mistlands. This one is still quite discreet, largely because the studio is taking its time so that this addition does not disturb the balance of the game. However, while the team is totally dedicated to the creation of the Mistlands, new images have been published, to share with the community the progress of the project.
So we have a concept art of part of the biomewhich will offer “ new creatures, dungeons and weapons “, at least.
Iron Gate then clarifies that ” designing a new biome is a big undertaking », since the novelties must fit perfectly with what is already available. Moreover, if the work progresses, ” the biome is not for now “, and it will take many tests before we can enjoy it.
To conclude his little message, the studio gives us a new look at the crossbowwhich was posted on Twitter by one of the developers a few days ago.
Also remember that an arc will arrive with this update, which still does not have a release date. We shouldn’t see it happen before next summer, barring a pleasant surprise.
