(CercleFinance.com) – Valneva announces that the United Arab Emirates has granted an authorization for the emergency use of its inactivated and adjuvanted vaccine against Covid-19, VLA2001, its second authorization in the Gulf countries.
“As the only inactivated, doubly adjuvanted vaccine against Covid-19 currently approved by the Ministry of Health and Prophylaxis, VLA2001 could offer an alternative vaccine solution to the inhabitants of the Emirates”, comments the company.
This follows conditional UK marketing authorization granted last month and emergency use authorization for the vaccine granted by the Bahrain Health Agency in March.
