PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Valneva announced on Wednesday that the European Commission has ordered 1.25 million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine for 2022, following negotiations after the Brussels decision. to terminate its original purchase agreement with the pharmaceutical company.

“Valneva will maintain stocks for possible additional supply from Member States if demand increases, and will at the same time endeavor to sell approximately eight to ten million doses on international markets,” added the group.
