VALORANT: Update 4.11, the details – VALORANT


The players of VALORANT can find a small update, which mainly corrects several problems identified in recent weeks. However, a not insignificant feature has been introduced, allowing you to mute the rest of the team and/or the group when you are in a clutch situation. This allows you to stay fully focused without your teammates interfering. All this can be directly adjusted in the settings.

SOCIAL UPDATES

  • Silence during the clutches – You can now mute your teammates and/or party members to focus during clutches!
    • You will find different options in Settings (Esc) > Controls > Communications.
    • Choose the keys to bind to “Muted group during a clutch” and “Muted team during a clutch”.
    • During the game, press the chosen keys to mute the group and/or team, then press again to restore the sound.
    • When these options are enabled, you can mute other players at any time via the chosen hotkey. An icon will appear to let you know that you have muted your party and/or team.

BUGS

AGENTS

  • Fixed a bug where Skye would sometimes strike an unexpected pose (visible in third person) when holding a gun.
  • Fixed a bug where Jett could reach much higher speeds than intended when using Tailwind at specific locations.
  • Fixed a bug where Yoru could use weapons earlier than intended when leaving Dimensional Shift (…once again).
    • Since the last patches, the more creative among you continue to find new ways to trigger variants of this bug. We need to fix these flaws to improve the systems that are used by all skills in the game. Because of this (and the frustration with invisible Yoru killing people), we will be closely monitoring the impact of these changes.
  • Fixed a bug where Yoru’s mask could flash when running forward during Dimensional Shift.
  • Fixed a bug where you could sometimes see the location of enemy Astra stars.
  • Fixed a bug where it was impossible to restabilize KAY/O after being revived by Sage.
  • Fixed a bug where the following skills sometimes disappeared from the minimap:
    • Viper’s Toxic Screen and Poison Cloud.
    • Killjoy Nanite Swarm.
    • Cybercage of Cypher.
  • Fixed a bug where the purchase menu sometimes displayed incorrect items after you changed agents in the training ground or in a custom game.
  • Fixed a bug where Chamber’s model would still teleport if the agent was killed while teleporting.
  • Fixed a bug where Skye’s Stalkers and Fade’s Prowlers and Tracks couldn’t descend through the Breeze slide.
  • Fixed Sova’s Skill Shots dialog to trigger when a Shock Arrow kills an enemy after 1 or 2 bounces.
    • This line of dialogue was not intended to play when the arrow destroys an enemy trap. This resulted in giving undue information to Sova and his team. So we’re restoring this dialogue, but restricting it to bouncing Electro Arrows that kill enemy players.
  • Fixed a bug where Killjoy’s Alarm Bot and Chamber’s Trademark would create large white circles on Brimstone’s Smoke Strike targeting map.
  • Fixed a bug where Chamber’s Rendezvous’ range indicator wouldn’t disappear when he was far enough out of the minimap.
