* SANOFI SASY.PA announced Wednesday evening that it had reached an agreement in principle to settle 4,000 disputes in the United States relating to Zantac, a treatment for gastric acid accused of being carcinogenic.

* SAINT-GOBAIN SGOB.PA announced on Wednesday the acquisition of the Canadian group Bailey Group Companies as part of an operation valued at 600 million euros in order to strengthen its offer in lightweight construction.

* AIRBUS AIR.PA announced on Wednesday that Airbus Ventures had invested in Oros Labs which raised $22 million to support its expansion.

* TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI – A court in Rome ruled in favor of the historic telecoms operator in a fifteen-year-old dispute over the liberalization of the telecommunications sector, ordering the Italian government to return around a billion euros to the group, TIM said on Wednesday evening.

* UBS UBSG.S – The Swiss regulator is seeking to prevent investors specializing in litigation from accessing AT1 documents from Credit Suisse, now owned by UBS, the Financial Times reported on Thursday.
