  • With “Vampire Academy” the US streaming service Peacock has brought us a series adaptation of the successful fantasy novel series by Richelle Meads.
  • Unfortunately, the series was canceled after its 10-part first season.
  • Series manager Marguerite MacIntyre has now reported to the fans with a video and talked about the future.

“Vampire Academy” is based on Richelle Mead’s best-selling novel series and was adapted as a series by the NBC streaming service Peacock. However, after only a 10-part season, the series was canceled again. However, fans of the series still have hope that the fantasy series will continue after all. Now series maker Marguerite MacIntyre has commented on the future.

MacIntyre has now personally spoken to the series fans for the first time via a video message via Twitter. Many continue to hope that the series will continue in one way or another. After all, there is so much more to tell.

Unfortunately, the series maker doesn’t have particularly good news to announce. After expressing her heartfelt thanks to the fans and all the love and support for the series, she admits that despite her best efforts, she currently sees no way to continue the series. Although she made every possible offer to those responsible, in the end they couldn’t find a common denominator.

This is, of course, very sad news for all who had continued to hope. Despite this devastating prospect, MacIntyre remains confident that the Vampire Academy story will return in the future. “It’s a beautiful series, it’s a beautiful book, it’s a beautiful character. You will return to the world!” says the American actress confidently, leaving the door a little open on her part.
