Vampire action conquers Steam: Free shooter attracts players en masse


The free-to-play battle royale shooter Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt has been available for a short time and is enjoying growing popularity on Steam. We tell you what awaits you in the shooter and where the major strengths and weaknesses of the title lie.

New F2P shooter turns you into powerful vampires

Since April 27, 2022 you can make the virtual streets and rooftops of Prague unsafe in the game Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. In the new Battle royale shooter you attack poor passers-by as a creature of the night and fight enemy vampires.

Compared to other battle royale games, the Third person shooter pleasantly through his vampire scenario. You can jump meters high as a bloodsucker, climb up the walls of houses or depending on the class you choose special skills activate. Among them are, for example, skills to make yourself invisible or to create a blast.

Bloodhunt is up thanks to its relatively small map and high movement speed fast, short laps designed. Otherwise, many mechanics are already known from other Battle Royale games. For example, you collect weapons and equipment while you are surrounded by a deadly red fog.

Following the respective round, which you either Solo or in a trio can complete, there are experience points that let you continue to level up. This in turn unlocks passive bonuses bit by bit.

Also interesting: You can rudimentarily design your character yourself. Currently, the options are still very limited and almost exclusively at the Ingame shop bound to finance the free game in the future.

A new star in the Battle Royale sky?

The Steam community likes the game and so gets Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt “mostly positive” ratings. Above all, it is praised that the shooter no Pay2Win mechanics owns.

Many users also praise the good movement, the slightly different approach and the smooth performance. On the other hand, the missing duo mode, the lack of an in-game report function and the compulsory registration at first login.
