Released in December 2021, vampire survivors offers a survival experience with minimalist gameplay and elements from the Roguelite genre. Your objective will be simple since you will have to survive waves of increasingly powerful creatures and bosses as long as possible, trying to obtain as many gold coins and gems as possible in order to develop your character.
Of course, the different characters, all with different passives and weapons, will have advantages and disadvantages depending on your progress in the game and even in a game. Their choice should therefore not be made lightly and without real reflection. However, looking at the current meta, some of these characters turn out to be much better and therefore more powerful and useful than others. Mortaccio
Gets more projectiles every 20 levels (max +3)
Mortaccio has, without a doubt, one of the most powerful passives in the game. Indeed, the latter will allow him to recover a new projectile every 20 levels. Of course, it may not be easy to pick up without having spent a few gold coins on “Power Ups”, but it will prove to be particularly powerful when you have progressed a little further in the game. So remember to buy upgrades before spending the 850 gold coins required to obtain the Mortaccio skeleton.
Arca Ladonna
Weapon cooldown is reduced by 5% every 10 levels (max -15%)
Arca begins its adventure equipped with the “Fire Wand”, one of the most interesting weapons in the game, while offering a passive reduction of 15% on weapon cooldowns, an excellent stat which will be felt in the most difficult moments. Although the beginning of the game can be somewhat difficult, given the random nature of the fireballs, his passive will make up for it all.
Imelda Belpaese
Gain 10% more experience every 5 levels (max +30%)
Imelda starts her adventure with the “Magic Wand”, which attacks the nearest enemy. Although his weapon is interesting, his passive will allow you to recover experience much faster, which will give you the possibility of creating your total build at a lower level.
Antonio Belpaese
Attacks deal 10% more damage every 10 levels (max +50%)

Gennaro Belpaese

The knife Gennaro uses is quite interesting, although it’s not the most powerful weapon. His passive will also be, but the number of projectiles will not change according to his level.
Pasqualina Belpaese
Projectiles become 10% faster every 5 levels (max +30%)
The Runetracer equipped by Pasqualina becomes interesting when she starts to get overwhelmed by enemies. Indeed, his weapon pierces creatures while bouncing around the corners of the screen. In addition, its passive being adequate for the Runetracer, the two elements will combine perfectly.
PoeRatcho
+25% permanent pickup radius and -30 hit points
The old man, Poe, starts his run equipped with a “Garlic” (Onion), which will make the start of the game considerably easier. However, while its Garlic-coupled passive might look interesting, the mid-game will be a bit trickier if you don’t combine it with a Pummarola.
