Vampire Survivors is probably one of the best value for money games in recent years. For €2.39, hours of fun await you, if you like the genre, given that the experience offered is relatively pleasant, especially as content is added over time. Vampire Survivors is indeed available in early access, and poncle, its developer, just shared what can be likened to a roadmap.
So we can learn what is planned by the time it is released in final version, which should not occur before the end of 2022, according to initial plans. Among the things that will be implemented, we find 9 new characters, to bring the final number to 18if we count Exdash, the secret character, double what was expected at the beginning. 16 weapons and two power-ups will also be added, to increase the possible builds. Five cards, two normal and three special, complete the “basic” novelties.
Several important features will be implemented, the first of which is coming in April, without further details, except that cards will have a role to play. Four other relics, like the treasure map, will arrive in the coming months.
The developer also explained that this huge, unexpected success made it possible to expand this roadmap, which should not have been so substantial.
When I started Vampire Survivors, all I wanted was to have a little game that I could have fun creating new game content in my spare time. Thanks to your incredible support and a once-in-a-lifetime stroke of luck, the game turned out to be an incredible success.
