Paradox Interactive announced in 2019 Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2sequel to the cult role-playing game from 2004. A title eagerly awaited by many fans and which was to be developed by Hardsuit Labsbut not everything went as planned. Creative Director Ka’ai Cluney, lead narrative designer Brian Mitsoda and the senior narrative designer Cara Ellison were fired from the development studio, before paradox does not separate from Hardsuit Labs.

Since, another studio took over development of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, but the publisher wants to keep his name still secret, allowing him to move forward on the project in peace. For their part, the fans are patient and waiting to get their hands on this title… but when? Well, Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactivespoke to the Swedish site Privata Afärerclaiming that the publisher “will probably be able to set a release date for this game fairly soon” and that’a launch in 2023 is “absolutely not impossible”.

Either way, the wait is long and players will still have to bite the bullet. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is expected at an unknown date on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, you can pre-order the game by First Blood Edition at €59.99 on Amazon.
