Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 introduces the Banu Haqim clan

Among the thirteen vampire clans, the Banu Haqim are also known as “mediators”, “judges”, “assassins”, or more pragmatically as “hunting clan”. Originally from the Middle East, its members generally prefer to stay away from political disputes and the mortal world. The Banu Haqim generally follow precepts known as the “Way of Blood”, a philosophy stating that all vampires are inherently tainted and imperfect. Only a strict and honorable code of conduct can lead a hemophage to redemption according to them. Some particularly enterprising Banu Haqim go so far as to apply their strict moral code to other factions, hunting down other powerful vampires to destroy them and absorb their essence. A taboo act committed to achieve a better world.

The Assassins’ Creed

Patient, intellectual and spiritual, the Banu Haqim prefer to remain discreet and strike the right person at the right time. Hence their pronounced penchant for infiltration into Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Its members will be able to move in the shadows without making a sound to assassinate their victims; In the event of scuffles, the Banu Haqim can temporarily freeze time to escape or massacre their defenseless enemies.

The Banu Haqim will be the third playable clan in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. They join the Brujah, dark brutes who are more of a backhoe than a tactician, and the Tremere, with esoteric abilities. A fourth and final clan will be revealed in December. It should focus on the fourth classic approach: charisma, charm and dialogue manipulation.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series in fall 2024.
