Vanessa Mai has pre-buttoned the summer hit “Ram Pam Pam” by Natti Natasha and Becky G. and given it an update.
Vanessa Mai (29) grabbed a summer hit to give it a new musical look: “Ram Pam Pam”, the song by Natti Natasha (34) and Becky G. (24). The Latin hit got a makeover from the pop singer and is being re-released as a remix.
Germany had so far given the original song almost three million audio streams of 150 million worldwide. There should be a few more from Friday, September 17th. Then the song will appear in the remix version with the German pop star and should attract even more attention. There will also be a video for the remix, a mix of the original video for the song with new scenes from May.
Mai has been flirting with the Latin style for a long time
In March of this year Mai’s seventh solo album “Mai Tai” was released, on which she is already toying with the Latin style. A year earlier she had entered into a Latin collaboration with the Spanish duo Lérica.
About Natti Natasha, who comes from the Dominican Republic, and the American Becky G, she says she has wanted to work with them for a long time. “The two artists stand for absolute female power, strong lyrics and unbelievably great music”, May is quoted in a press release.
