Michael Kopech has filed for divorce from his pregnant wife, Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan, after five months of marriage.

A spokesman for Vanessa Morgan confirmed to the daily that Michael Kopech was the father of her baby, but declined to comment on the divorce filed. Kopech's spokesman, however, did not respond to the request for a comment.
The Chicago White Sox announced on July 10 that Kopech would not play this season for "personal reasons". The pitcher had not previously taken part in the summer camp training from July 3 to take care of a personal matter.
Vanessa Morgan and Michael Kopech had married in Florida in early January 2020 after a long relationship. Just three days ago, the actress had made her pregnancy public via Instagram. The boy is said to be born in January.
