The camos in Call of Duty: Vanguard didn’t have a huge success when the game launched, and players want some changes.
After the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, Vanguard players were quickly disappointed to see what the camos looked like in the Battle Royale. Unfortunately, the community hasn’t really been happy with the camouflages since the game’s launch, but it’s hard to see how the developers could improve them.
Now players are requesting new individual mastery camos. Following the appearance of Obsidian camouflage on Modern Warfare in 2019, many players want to see something similar on Vanguard.
The Obsidian camouflage from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been extremely coveted.
Much like Modern Warfare, Vanguard launched with three mastery camos, so we don’t really expect to see any more. But players would like to see a camouflage like Obsidian to add a little more spice in addition to the Gold, Diamond and Atomic camos.
On Reddit, players have discussed these mastery camos and how much they would like at least one new one on Vanguard. While most reviews admitted that the Obsidian camo wasn’t the most visually beautiful, its challenge is cool and could be on Vanguard as well.
“Want to see weapon mastery camos coming back?”
A new camouflage like this would be ideal for players who don’t have a ton of time to devote to Call of Duty: Vanguard. Maybe they’re only used to playing a few hours a week and therefore focus on 2 or 3 weapons in Multiplayer, which would prevent them from getting Atomic camouflage.
But an Obsidian-type camouflage might be suitable for this more casual type of player. The idea is very interesting but we would now have to wait and see if Sledgehammer Games would like to integrate a new type of mastery camouflage on Vanguard or not.
