VF Corporation, owner of the Vans, The North Face and Eastpak brands, has admitted that hackers got their hands on data belonging to 35 million customers.

In its filing with the SEC, the company VF Corp indicated that among the stolen data, banking information was excluded. Good news. Customer passwords were also not leaked. And any unauthorized users were kicked out of the systems as of December 15, two days after the attack was discovered.
Last month, brand stores belonging to VF Corp were disrupted by the encryption of certain computer systems. The company was unable to fulfill certain orders, and today, minor operational impacts remain.
Although VF Corporation did not indicate who was behind the attack, it appears that the group BlackCat (or ALPHV), which had already launched an attack on Reddit and Amazon cameras, doorbells and alarms Ring, was at the origin of the cyberattack, since it claimed it.
