The Pacific microstate sees itself as a model student in climate policy. By 2030, the electricity demand is to be completely covered by renewable energies.

Vanuatu is one of the many tiny island nations in the Pacific that are acutely threatened by climate change. Although Vanuatu’s emissions are negligible, the country has now adopted an ambitious climate plan.
