(Boursier.com) — As part of the merger-absorption of Vigie (formerlySuez) by Veolia Environmentthe eligible holders of 14 bond issues issued by Vigie were consulted to approve this merger-absorption, and for certain holders the modification of the terms of their bonds.
The general meetings of bondholders were held on September 15 and October 6, 2022. At the end of these general meetings, all the resolutions put to the vote were adopted.
“The success of this consultation illustrates once again the support of the market for the merger operation between Veolia Environnement and the former Suez formalized by the public tender offer carried out in January 2022 with the ambition of giving birth to the World Champion of Ecological Transformation”, indicates Veolia.
The final completion of the merger is scheduled for October 31, 2022.
