Veolia: one-third growth in EBITDA thanks to Suez

(CercleFinance.com) – Veolia publishes for the first three months of 2022 a current EBIT up 45.7% to 692 million euros and an EBITDA up 33.4% to nearly 1.46 billion. At constant scope and exchange rates, they increased by 18% and 7.6% respectively.

At 9.93 billion euros, the utilities group’s revenue increased by 44.3% at constant exchange rates, mainly due to the integration of Suez activities, but also to organic growth of 16.7%.

“Without widening of the conflict beyond Ukrainian territory, or significant change in energy supply conditions in Europe”, Veolia confirms its outlook for the whole of 2022.
